Psalm 96, the second psalm
of Kabbalat Shabbat קבלת שבת
gives the command to declare Yeshua ישוע
and to show signs and wonders.
Psalm 96:2-3.
“Sing to HASHEM,
bless his name,
declare his Yeshua from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
his wonders among all people.”
שירו ליהוה
ברכו שמו
בשרו מיום ליום ישוע תו:
ספרו בגוים כבודו
בכל העמים נפלאותיו :
Signs and wonders accompany
the name of the Messiah המשיח.
It is something that HASHEM does.
We put no effort into it.
We are in a state of rest מנוחה .
HASHEM does the work.
This is the essence of Shabbat שבת .
We cease from our own works,
and magnify the works of HASHEM.
Moses, after he was called by HASHEM,
put no effort into the signs and wonders
that HASHEM performed in Egypt,
and in the wilderness במדבר.
Most of the time
he didn’t even lift the rod.
Aaron did.
Moses learned to rest
in listening to the voice of HASHEM,
and obeying the voice of HASHEM.
He learned the Shabbat of HASHEM.
He put none of his own effort,
or his own sechel סכל
into the performance
of the miracles in Egypt.
He simply spoke
the Word of HASHEM דבר יהוה.
HASHEM performed the miracles,
the signs, and the wonders,
and Moses was in a state
of rest and peace
or Shabbat Shalom שבת שלום.
In a like manner,
Yeshua ישוע gave authority סמכות
to his students talmidim תלמדים
to cast out devils מגרש שדים
and to heal the sick רפא חולים
from all manner of
sickness and diseases.
They learned that they did not
have to put any effort
into these works.
They simply spoke the Word
as Moses had done.
HASHEM DID THE WORKS.
They conserved and renewed
their own strength
by resting in the Shabbat of HASHEM.
Many signs and wonders
accompany the name of Yeshua ישוע
because he is the
Messiah of Israel משיח של ישראל .
Pillars of fire, pillars of smoke,
oil, sweet smelling fragrances,
visions, prophecies, healings,
deliverances from demons,
and many other different
and numerous kinds
of miracles, signs, wonders
appear when his name is spoken.
HASHEM does these works
because the Messiah Yeshua המשיח ישוע
is sitting at his right hand.
Yeshua ישוע said
“Whatsoever you ask the Father
in my name,
He will do it.”
Psalm 98, the fourth psalm
of Kabbalat Shabbat קבלת שבת
says the right arm of HASHEM
performs these wonders.
Then the psalm says that
HASHEM reveals his Yeshua ישוע ,
his Messiah משיחו,
to the eyes of the nations.
And through this HASHEM
reveals his mercy and faith
to the house of Israel.
This is because the Messiah Yeshua
המשיח ישוע is of the House of David,
and the throne of David
will be established forever.
Psalm 98:1-2.
“O sing to HASHEM a new song;
for he has done wonders ,
his right hand, his holy arm,
has brought him salvation.
HASHEM has made known his Yeshua:
his righteousness has he openly showed
in the sight of the nations.
He has remembered
his mercy and his faith
to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth
have seen the Yeshua of HASHEM.”
שירו ליהוה שיר חדש
כי נפלאות עשה
הושיעה לו ימינו וזרוע קדשו :
הודיע יהוה ישועתו
לעיני הגוים גלה צדקתו:
זכר חסדו ואמונתו לבית ישראל
ראו כל אפסי ארץ
את ישועת אלהינו:
Psalm 29, the sixth psalm of Kabbalat Shabbat קבלת שבת
speaks of the Voice קול of HASHEM
SEVEN times.
This refers back to Psalm 95,
the first psalm of Kabbalat Shabbat קבלת שבת
where is the Voice קול of HASHEM
is mentioned one time.
Listening to the Voice קול of HASHEM,
and obeying his voice שומע בקול,
are the keys to entering into
the Shabbat שבת of HASHEM.
Signs and Wonders will occur,
because HASHEM does them.
He demonstrates that he is king
over all the earth.
He gives strength and peace עז ושלום
to his people: his Shabbat,
and we rule and rest with him.
The Messiah Yeshua המשיח ישוע said
in many different ways
to his students talmidim תלמידים
that if they hear his word
and obey it,
the works that he does
shall they do also;
and greater works than these,
because he goes to his Father.
The Messiah המשיח said:
“Truly, truly, I say to you,
he who believes on me,
the works that I do
shall he do also;
and greater works than these,
because I go to my Father.”
אמן אמן אני אומר לכם
המאמין בי יעשה גם הוא
את המעשים שאני עושה:
וגדולים מאלה יעשה
כי הולך אני אל האב:
All the ends of the earth
כל אפסי הארץ
will see the glory of HASHEM,
and the glory of the Messiah Yeshua המשיח ישוע.
